Hi Stef!
The fan letter received me today: the reason to search for your side in the i-net. And I have to say: Wow! It's pretty cool!
Well, about your question what you shall post: Fans are interested about everything of you -> your thoughts, things what happened to you, the latest news; be like you are always be! Uh, one last plea: Could you please tell us more about the event of that weekend?
Like Katja and me wrode it in our letters to you (you remember the huge package from Germany? ^^)we are too far away from you to get the latest news; because of that we are very happy about that new homepage of you with the possibility to figure something more out.
I hope that you liked our presents. It was pretty much fun to make them.
Knowing that the other fans are on your side at the moment in California, seeing you in person, makes me very sad, because it's my biggest wish, too. But that page lifts me up a little bit ^^.
Have a nice weekend and enjoy your performance!
I hope to hear something more from you soon.
Yours,
Melanie

Dear Stef,
I just got the fan letter today and went straight to check out your official website. Looks great! It's easy to see that it had been built with love. And to answer your question: Of course I'd be interest in whatever you consider worth posting here. Since Germany is always a bit behind it's good to have a source for news and updates on what's going on in your life or career.
Break a leg for the upcoming shows of "One from the Hart". Enjoy the event and I sure wouldn't mind if you could tell us a bit about it. We already heard something from a girl who went to see you performing but some informations coming from you wouldn't hurt, right? What did inspire you to do this show?
Have a nice weekend, lots of fun and enjoy yourself.
Love,
Kati

Stefanie,
First of all “thanks you” for having this space so you and your fans will have the chance to get closer. I’m pretty sure there are a lot of things you can share with us. I would like to know more about your work for Mother Nature and how can we help to the foundation. Tell us about your plans for 2008 so we can join efforts.
Wishing a great week.
Send you a big hug from this lovely country,

Hi Stefanie--
This is just great that your fans, including me, can chat and get to know you better via your new website.
As for me, I have been a loyal fan of yours since "The Girl From U.N.C.L.E." days, your many films and of course "Hart to Hart" You have been my idol and someone to look up to for many years. Your work with the WHWF is absolutely wonderful and I know he would be very proud of you and your commitment to this great cause. I would love to visit the reserve some day and see first hand the many areas of it. Hopefully, that dream will come true.
I had the chance to meet you when you were in Louisville Kentucky during the run of The King and I. You asked us to come back stage and I was so excited to finally get to meet you. You were so gracious to come out in your robe and your hair under that wig cap to meet us. My only regret was that I did not get to get a picture with you, but I understood. We talked about McLintock and Hart to Hart coming out on DVD. My Mom was with me and you were introduced to her as well. I have read that you and your Mom live together, my Mom and do also and I would not have it any other way because we are there for one another when needed.
I read where you are currently doing a "one woman show" and hope that you will be taking this on tour. I would love to see it and possibly meet with you again. I listen to your CD going to work every day and sing along with you. We sound pretty good together!!
I know this "blogging" thing is new to you, but it a great way to get to know your opinion on things. It is great fun and very informative.
I would like to know when you decided to put together your new show and what gave you the idea?? I know it will be great.
Well, I will sign off now and wait for your "blog". Please keep in touch.

Ok, after I submitted my other comment, I had some other ideas for topics. I'd love to hear you blog about your opinions on any current events as they arise (Example: currently your thoughts on the Hollywood writer's strike). Also, as someone who loves to travel I'd personally love to hear about YOUR travel adventures since you've been to so many places. I think it would be cool if you could throw out the name of a place you've been to and tell one thing you found fascinating or remarkable about the place. Just some ideas! JE

Hi Stefanie! I know first hand that you are a very interesting person so I'm sure many people will be interested in blogging!! I'd like to ask you, of all the great songs you have sung in musical productions throughout your career, do you have a favourite? Mine would have to be "Hello Young Lovers" from King and I and " I can get by" from Matador.

Yes I would be interested in your blogs. I would like to hear about any current projects and also about your excursions in Africa. How awesome it must be to go on safari. So expound away. Thanks,KS

I'm so excited about this, I have been a fan of yours since Hart to Hart. I'm now a 36 years old Mum of 2 teenage boys. I now watch this show on the Dvd's sets. I used to watch it with my Mum, but I lost her almost 3 years ago. It was very hard on me and I gained alot of weight, I found your Powers Pilates book and decided to take control over my life again and lost 75lbs with the support of my Dad, my husband, and sons. Thank you for putting that book out there. At first I thought this pilates must really be latin for torture yourself. It's all good now, not so painful when you get used to it. Hope this finds you well, Sincerely Christian.

I think I can speek for many fans of you, and we all are glad to get the chance to communicate with you so the topic doesn't matter.
A few friends told me about your Show "One from the Hart" and they all said that you were amazing at the show. I hope that I will get the chance to see you in the future live on stage but germany is so far away!
Thanks for all the years with wonderful movies and series!

Hi, Stefanie.
Yes, please blog. The topics could be anything that you think is important for people to know. Some suggestions:
When your new tour begins, you can note what sightseeing you did in the towns that your tour is in (and people could send suggestions of things to do and places to eat perhaps)
Suggestions on conserving energy and how you like your house(s) being solar powered.
Updates on WHWF news as a reminder to check that website for full updates.
A side note that I was able to attend your new show this past weekend in Costa Mesa, CA, "One From the Hart" and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very clear how much work and planning went into it and you should be very proud. Your timing was impeccable, sense of humor clearly intact and the musicians were the perfect blend. Anyone who goes to see it will not be disappointed.
I wish you much success with this tour and your many other endeavors.

Hi Stefanie,
I doubt there are fans that would NOT be interested in what you put on your blog.
Any topic will do, but it would be nice to read about topics that matter to you such as the WHWF or how you experienced your show in Costa Mesa (I've seen it twice and it was a great show!).
Kind regards,

With todays "lifestyles" of celebrities and all the exposure they are given by the media, how do you feel it compares to the yester years? Is it comparable? Does it appear to be harsher because we are able to "intrude" into peoples lives more easily?

I think you are an inspiration to many people, with all that you do.
And you look fantastic!
Quite frankly I would be interested in anything you had to say.

You could talk about anything and we'd be interested!
I'd enjoy hearing about the animals in Kenya - where they are free.

SP--(if this is SP because I'm always a bit skeptical of these things)--I am interested in your blogs. I first discovered H2H when I was 13 and recently rediscovered it on DVD this past summer and my love for it was immediately rekindled. Watching it now as a 25yr old, my appreciation for the show has grown, now comprehending all the witty/scandalous exchanges between the Harts. I perused some of your interviews that I found on various fan websites and read through the WHWF website. I think you are quite brilliant and admirably adventurous. So I guess if you found it worth blogging at all, I would want to know the following:
Do you like to read, if so, what are some of favorite books that you love, inspired you, revolutionized your personal philosophy, etc.?
Do you ever watch those youtube H2H tributes or H2H episodes?
What's your mantra or your favorite quote?
Is there anywhere you have not traveled but aspire to someday?
Do you have a phobia? (mine is spiders)
Is there anything you haven't learned or studied and wish you had the time to?
What are you working on or what things/topics occupy your mind most?

I would love to blog with you. What fan of yours would not be thrilled to talk personally with you? You've been my role model since I was a child. For 28 years, you have inspired me to be a better person. I know that because of you, I am a better mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. You have taught me that I have a responsibility to care for this planet and help those who inhabit it. I pray that my own children find such a positive role model as I did. You continue to inspire me. I've always dreamed of talking with you in person (you're such an interesting person)but I'll settle for blogging with you.

Hello Stefanie,
As has been said in all previous comments, we would love to read about whatever you would like to write about!
Here are a few I would love to hear about:
1. A behind the scenes look at Hart to Hart.
2. Your experiences working in Hollywood,co-stars,and any stories you would like to tell.
3. Your views on the status of the environment, and some tips you may have to go green, and what you personally do to help the environment.
4. What do you feel about the political unrest in both Kenya and Tibet.
5. How it feels to be performing your one woman show, and your process in creating it.
6. Any and all stories about the WHWF and Kenya.
As you can see, we are interested

Dear Stefanie,
I would be interested in reading your blog. I would love to hear how you spend your time in Kenya. I admire the work you do for the environment and with animals. I would also be interested in knowing what more I can do.
My mom and I watched Hart to Hart every Tuesday night when I was in high school, and watching it now brings back such good memories for me. I absolutely loved it, and it is still my favorite thing to watch today on dvd. I live in Germany right now, so we watch our dvd's most of the time. I want to watch H2H, and my husband and boys-well,they don't. So we have to go our separate ways during that time.
Besides Kenya and LA, where else do you live?
Thank you so much for the wonderful work you do in entertainment. I have enjoyed it so.
Sincerely,
Beverly Jackson

Dear Stefanie
I am from Brazil, and I am your fan for almost 30 years, since the very first episode of Hart to Hart was on tv. I was a teen at that time, and I grew up collecting everything about you, and reading things about you and your life that always made me very happy and proud to know that my favorite actress was such a beautiful person in all senses, such a special human being, who always taught me good things about life, about our planet. As many teens at that time, I've always wanted to be "just like Stefanie when I grow up". I am happy to see that many teens now, that were not even born when H2H was on tv, just "discovered" you and admire you for the same reasons. We have H2H and Stefanie's communities of brazilian fans on the internet, and you have no idea of how many fans you have here, including very young people.
I am very happy that now you have a blog, and I do hope you can write here really often, because every little thing about you is interesting to your fans. You probably don't know how much people love you and admire you around the world, and even when we don't have a new movie, a new project from you, some things never change. We are always happy just to see your smile in an old movie. I know I will be your fan forever, because you always make me happy, no matter how bad things can be at that moment for me, you always bring me good memories and make me smile, just for being who you are.
Thank you so much for everything, and for being in my life for so many years, my "inspiration" to be a better human being myself.
Márcia (Brazil)

Hello Miss Powers,
I am another huge fan who would be very interested in your blog. I think it's great that you want to communicate with your fans and look forward to learning more. I also want to take a moment and thank you!! Two years ago I found your Broadway tape and about your dedication to health. It was the inspiration I had looked for most of my life. For the first time ever in my life I made a firm commitment to be healthier. It's been two years and I've lost over 100 pounds. I still have more weight to lose, but Thanks to you I have the will to keep going! And for the first time I actually enjoy exercise and hate it when my schedule gets too busy to get in my daily routine. I just can't thank you enough for your inspiration!!!
As for topics of future blogs, I too would love to hear about Africa, as well as your travels all around the world. Also, as an actress myself, I would love to hear about the way you work, prepare for a part, what method do you use, etc.
In closing, I just want to thank you again for all you do! You constantly inspire me, whether it is through health, acting or conservation work, I think you are an amazing person and the world is definitely a better place because of you!
Sincerely,
Beth Champagne, New Hampshire

Our young people can learn a lot from you as I have and continue to do. Keep up the good fight and together we all can make this a better world to live in. Peace and long life to you.

I read the above blogs, and I think it is super that you can take the time to do this. I am a great fan, have all your films on VCR's, and recording them to DVD's. I search everywhere for anything that has your name on it. I had gone to see Love Letters in several adjoining cities, and always had the pleasure of going back stage. I had to chuckle when the fan above said "it was so great that you would take the time to come out in your robe"....I experienced the same but with a hug and a kiss, and of course, I had a picture taken with you, I wouldn't leave without one. I love the Hart to Hart episodes, just sorry they are over, and I went absolutely nuts at the play, THE KING AND I, and when you danced to: SHALL WE DANCE, I went wild. I even cried. You were great. One of your greatest is SHADOW ON THE SUN. I have it on tape.
You are elegant, beautiful, warm, loving, and I would vote and campaign for you if you ran for PRESIDENT.
Thanks Stefanie, for being you.
Love ya Anne Kanouse

Hi there! I grew up on Hart to Hart, thanks to my mother, who had to have a friend tape episodes in Miami and send them via the spice route it seems to Grand Cayman. Videotape was rare back then and VCR's of the era looked like suitcases.
What are your thoughts on more Hart to Hart 2-hour movies? They were loads of fun; a return to the kind of television that sadly no longer exists. Would you do more? Or is it too much like singing the same song over again? If Sex & the City can make it to the big screen, you never know...

Hi Stefanie,
I seem to be having trouble blogging, I'm very new at this, but I'm not sure if you received any of my blogs, but here I go again. I just wanted to tell you that I've been a huge fan of yours since Hart to Hart and you are such a wonderful actress in everything you do. It's great that you also have such a huge interest in wildlife, I'm so glad there are people in the world like you that care so much for the well-being of animals. You mentioned that you weren't sure what people would like to hear about in your blogs, but I think you taking the time in your schedule and just caring about what your fans would like to hear just says enough. I would be interested in anything you had to write about and I just wanted to say that you really do have a heart of gold. Take care, Kimberly Daffner
